If your travelling within the UK, you will get full door-to-door navigation of UK. If down the line you require extra maps for European countries then you can purchase these seperately from us and we can even supply you maps of USA and Canada. Adding these maps is Super Easy, just insert the SD card and your OFF!

You can choose between 16 different languages: Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, Flemish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish are all available - and you can even choose the voice you prefer for audio directions.

Simple, intuitive navigation

As each time a new series of navigation devices are released, they come with more SMART power. The C220 is very user friendly with large on-screen buttons, predictive keyboard making entering a destination, name or post code simple and effective.  

Each time a new address is i entered, it gets stored in the 'History' section of the software allowing you to navigate to previously entered addresses again. There are dedicated buttons for your own Home and Work addresses.

When you are using the Mio whilst driving, all the journey information you require is displayed on screen making it easier to estimates of arrival than having to go through a number of screens to get this information. Distance to go, battery power, TMC and signal strength are also displayed.

Safety camera warnings free for 1 year

Since speeding is becoming more and more of a problem, there are more speed cameras and traps set up. This new Mio range has the ability to locate likely speed camera locations.

Each new Mio device includes a free safety camera update from the Mio site for a full year if you register your product.

Within the settings of the software, you can set it up so that it can give you warnings by audio or visual.The split screen can also be set up so that it shows a lists of locations on your route.

As Satellite Navigation is getting more and more popular, they have made it easier for the beginners get to grips with the whole interface. If you find a location which you would like to save for a later date (e.g. new work place, family park etc.), then you can just tap the screen to add new location and just enter in the relevant details.

Up and running in seconds with fast, accurate positioning form SiRFstarIII GPS technology

As built into most units these days, the C220 includes a Sirf Star 3 chipset which will find a fix and re-calculate journeys a whole lot faster than previous receivers.

As GPS chipsets are becoming more and more sophisticated, the Sirf 3 chipset can get signals from up to 20 satellites meaning more of an accurate location will be displayed.

Essential local knowledge with Points Of Interest

Don't you just love it when your in-control wherever you go.

Mio gives you this with comprehensive built-in local Points of Interest: restaurants, petrol stations, hospitals,.

With the unique POI system the Mio C220 features, you will be able to filter some POIs from others. The split screen will show you the nearest petrol stations or parking, cash machines or supermarkets, hotels or restaurants.

To make a things a whole lot hotter, the POIs now come with phone numbers so if you were looking for a hotel, you could call ahead and make a reservation

Choose the way you want to travel

The C220 is also a great device to walk with making it your own truly PERSONAL navigation device .

Something which most other devices are missing is a dedicated Pedestrian Mode allowing the customer to use the device on foot as well as in a car. Because of the small, compact design, the Mio C220 can easliy be placed in your pocket or hand bag. When travelling in the car, choose between fastest, shortest or economical routes and you can also specify what king of vehicle you are driving, car, bus, truck etc.

You can also make detailed specifications as in if you would like to or not travel using toll roads of ferries. These can be included or excluded from the planned.
