Globalsat DG100 GPS
Data Logger
WHAT:
The DG-100 provides accurate satellite position tracking capabilities. The Globalsat DG100 is a travel recorder that allows you to record exactly where you or anyone else has traveled via GPS.
Eg. you can see the route they made either by foot or in a vehicle, and how long they were there for in that location.
HOW:
GlobalSat DG-100 is a GPS data logger that records tracking data from the received GPS signal. The DG 100 records time, the date, traveling speed, altitude and GPS location at preset intervals.
All you need to do is download the recorded GPS track log information by connecting the DG-100 via its own USB cable to your PC or laptop (Windows only). Then users can easily export the recorded points to Google Earth or Google Maps to view the route travelled. If photos have been taken with your digital camera, the immageo software imports all the photographs and displays them in user galleries.
USES:
The DG100 is an ideal data logger application for, group travel & individual travel and consumer personal use, fleet management, marine navigational aids.
FEATURES:
The DG-100 is a small box measuring roughly 7cm square and feels very light. The USB connector (held into place by a small magnet) doubles up as a data link and a battery re charger for the two 2500mAh batteries that power the DG-100.
When logging data every 10 seconds the GlobalSat DG100 performed well and logged continuously for 37 hours using up only 21% of the memory, so it's safe to say the logging frequency has no impact on overall battery life.

Immageo
Software
WHAT:
Immageo lets you record and explore your memories. Immageo is an excellent way to display your photo collection. Its more than an album organiser, it embeds map locations and notes into your photos creating dynamic map galleries.
HOW:
Immageo is an easy to use geotagging application, by importing your photos into Immageo, you can immediately start locating each photo using the integrated global map or satellite imagery. Once located and confirmed, the GPS coordinates are embedded within the photo. This is what we call geotagging.
Immageo allows you to either manually geo-tag your images or automatically geotag thousands of photos with the longitude and latitude coordinates for each each photo, allowing them to be linked via Google Earth or Google Maps.

FEATURES:
Immageo imports your selected photo collection by creating a copy (leaving your originals intact) as an Immageo album. By using immageo’s tools you can locate your photos on a map, add notes about your trip or event and tag them for future reference. It really is that simple.
