ACER N35 GNS RDS TMC RECEIVER

This RDS TMC adapter for the Acer N35 is a FM receiver with RDS/TMC ability. The FM9 extends mobile satellite navigation systems with integrated GPS receivers adding RDS/TMC functionality. With help of the FM9, the received traffic messages are then directed to the navigation software, allowing calculation of an alternative route to avoid traffic jams.

We advise combining the Acer N35 TMC receiver with the Destinator 6 upgrade for the Acer N35.

The Traffic Message Channel, also known as TMC, is a specific application of the FM Radio Data System that delivers real-time traffic and travel information to drivers. With a TMC-enabled navigation system, the driver can be notified of problems on the planned route and at the same time, TMC will calculate and provide an alternative route to help the driver avoid the incident.
