The Option GlobeTrotter GT MAX HSUPA is a multi-band, multi-technology transceiver offering HSDPA download speeds of 7.2Mbps with HSUPA uploads approaching 2Mbps.
The Wireless modem is Sim Free and Unlocked. Sim Free means that the device will be supplied to you as it is, no sim card is included. Unlocked means that the device can be used with any mobile phone network e.g. Orange, O2, Vodafone, T-Mobile etc.

The design of the Option GlobeTrotter GT MAX incorporates Option's unique and patented "Butterfly" retractable antenna concept that frees you from the need to remove any part of your card from your notebook. The Option GlobeTrotter GT MAX HSUPA uses Zero-CDTM technology.
Applications, manuals and drivers are distributed and installed automatically when the Option GlobeTrotter GT MAX HSUPA is inserted for the first time. There is no need for CD installation or bulky printed book.

Diversity - There is a second antenna on the card (it's an advanced receiver technology), thereby improving the signal and reducing downtime.
