The battery life of a PDA is limited like any other device containing rechargeable batteries. Battery capacity drops little by little as you use it more.
When the available battery time is shortened considerably, a probable cause of this is that the battery has reached the end of its life.
The battery life will vary according to how it is stored and through general operating conditions.
This replacement battery will extend the life of your PDA.

This battery is twice the thickness of the original 1440mAh battery that came with your Dell Axim X5 but offers over two times the capacity of the original. There are no modifications needed to your Axim or the charger to take advantage of this added capacity. This extended capacity is a MUST if you are using WiFi networking or are out of the office and away from the charger for extended periods of time.
